After cooking my dinner last night I popped back to the pub to see if I could get the farmer a pint for letting me use his field and barn. He wouldn't even let me buy him a drink, what a gent!
While in the pub a couple came in with their Bengal cat on a lead. Apparently he is a house cat but likes to go to the pub!
I had a good rest last night, but woke to a thick frost on my tent this morning.
Fortunately the sun was out so I was able to dry it out before setting off.
After a good climb up from Ogbourne St George there were some fantastic views of the way I had come.
I stopped for lunch at Liddington Castle Fort, it was a bit off the trail, but worth it for the views and the coughing sheep!

I had planned to push on to Uffington today, but as the only water tap on this section was out of order, I decided to cut it short today so I could detour to the Rose and Crown in Ashbury to fill my water bottles.

Some guys walking their cows, as you do!
